VP communications is responsible for maintaining Chapter mailing/distribution list(s); add and delete list members as requested. He is also responsible for communicating meeting information to appropriate/interested networking groups.
VP Website is responsible for administration of the chapter website. The VP of Communications also supports other board members use of the site and chapter sponsor content on the Chapter website. Responsible for monthly newsletter with support from the newsletter director. Answers questions regarding website registration functionality. Enters and follows up on fault tickets for the website and email services.
ROLE DESCRIPTION: Elected volunteer responsible for addressing the needs of chapter membership regarding email communication and website support and update.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Revise website content on a regular basis
Answer general membership and sponsor inquiries; respond to member/non-member information inquiries and other requests for assistance
Coordinate the production and distribution of timely membership newsletter via email distribution
Develop and administer website
monitor and respond to chapter emails related to the website content
Support and attend annual general meeting

Proficient in using Joomla (or current backend control) to manage website
