The Program Manager provides a central point of accountability for their respective programs, is the leader of cross functional teams, and works closely with local site leadership to ensure alignment with business unit & customer expectations. This role leads and directs all facets of their respective program, attends local staff meetings, tier reviews and will be considered the central point contact on behalf of their customer looking after all KPI’s and customer performance metrics.

  • Conducts analysis to support plans and provides supporting data with recommendations, pricing, payment, and delivery commitments.
  • Creates and delivers information and status presentations to external customers and internal stakeholders
  • Identifies and communicates customer requirements and expectations.
  • Reviews and acknowledges Purchase Orders and coordinates requirements with Demand Planning.
  • Researches and resolves issues, questions or problems that arise by communicating with customers and internal personnel.
  • Provides input and information for demand planning process.
  • Assists Shared Services with Accounts Receivable issues.
  • Various reporting activities and other duties as required

Qualification:


Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelors' degree with 5 years experience in program management or related field
  • Working experience and understanding of value stream and facilitating solutions that ensure on time delivery of development hardware and services as programs transition into full rate production
  • Must be able to effectively communicate on all levels
  • Must have (on met resolution skills and at times be assertive while maintaining a professional business demeanor


Education:
Required Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 5+ years of experience

The GNCAS Production Program Manager provides a single-point of accountability to the Product Line Manager to ensure timely delivery of products to customers. The Production Program Manager provides day-to-day direction to a cross functional team including functions from production, quality, material/production planning, production/sustaining engineering, and procurement; manages all aspects of production program requirements. This role leads and directs regular core team meetings, attends and reports at customer/product reviews

Qualification:

Basic Qualifications:

  • 8 years of program, production, operations experience, and/or customer management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Program management experience preferred
  • Ability to analyze and act to mitigate risk
  • Ability to implement, track, and manage cost controls to meet negotiated cost reduction objectives
  • Ability to manage within a matrixed, cross-functional team to achieve desired schedule, cost, and quality targets
  • Strategic leadership and execution
  • Mentor and advisor to other PMs and Engineers
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization
  • Knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques
  • Knowledge and experience in development contracts is highly desired
